Business Development Manager - Field Sales

At Carbon 60, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team on a permanent basis to drive Field Sales in the North East of England. The purpose of this role is to maintain and develop client relationships, demonstrating system knowledge, effective contract management of existing accounts and generation of new sales within the region. You will be selling, demonstrating, and promoting our range of specialty water and process chemicals and monitoring technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute customer account sales plans, coordinating all proposal activity, from generating quotes to processing purchase orders.
  • Manage customer satisfaction and escalate customer concerns for resolution.
  • Coordinate support resources to maintain and grow existing and win/close new accounts.
  • Participate in plant visits, audits, and surveys, conducting appropriate water analysis/testing and reporting as required.
  • Maintain the integrity of strategies and implementation of sales/marketing programs to achieve sales goals within your assigned territory/market.
  • Meet or exceed assigned quotas (activities and results).
  • Drive the right behaviors around Safety, Teamwork, Company strategies, and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Strong sales and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of the water and process chemicals industry.
