AOG Operations Manager

Overview:
At Forward Assist Recruitment, we are seeking a dedicated AOG Operations Manager to join our client's critical AOG team. This unit plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient recovery of AOG aircraft for our customers by utilizing both internal capabilities and third-party service providers.
Role Responsibilities:
The AOG Operations Manager will enhance customer satisfaction by serving as a central point of contact for all communications across the network. This role is essential in improving AOG management and response times, thereby reinforcing the company's competitive edge in the aviation sector by delivering exceptional MRO services.
Key Duties:
- Demonstrate commercial insight into how decisions affect both customer satisfaction and overall business performance.
- Ensure compliance with the company's Health & Safety policies, promoting safe practices among all team members.
- Adhere to the company's KYC policy and work with approved suppliers.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of flights and transportation as needed.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to facilitate AOG recovery operations.
- Maintain a solid understanding of aircraft systems and operations.
- Exhibit the ability to perform under pressure, adapting to operational demands and time constraints.
- Employ a systematic approach to planning and organization.
Mid-Management Support:
The AOG Operations Manager will provide specialized technical, regulatory, and safety guidance to mid-management and operational staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance standards.

Work Environment:

Qualifications:
- A recognized apprenticeship in the aircraft industry or a similar field, or a Qualified Part66 Licence with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a university degree in Aircraft Engineering or aviation management.
- A solid understanding of Aircraft Maintenance Production Planning is essential.
