Babcock International Group is seeking a Compliance Senior Task Planner to join our team at our Clyde, Faslane site. As a Compliance Senior Task Planner, you will play a critical role in assisting the Principal Engineer and General Manager in the coordination, evaluation, and prioritization of the Technical Compliance Authority (TCA) portfolio of tasks and requirements.

The Role

As a Compliance Senior Task Planner, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of the task plan, ensuring alignment with key project stakeholders.
  • Identifying areas of risk within the plan and advising management on variances of risk.
  • Ensuring resource allocations and assignments are known and smoothing where necessary.
  • Providing input to weekly 'take on' meetings to advise on resource availability and risks to the plan.
  • Preparing reports for presentation to Senior Management and other key stakeholders.

This role offers a full-time or part-time schedule, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements, including 1/2 days in the office/onsite and 3/4 days working from home, depending on business needs.

Essential Experience

  • Knowledge of planning processes and business applications.
  • Experience in creating plans from scratch, not just adapting plans.
  • Working experience with Primavera 6 or Microsoft Project.
  • People management experience is desirable.
  • Technical or Engineering background is desirable.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national, able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
