Job Title: Senior Compliance Task Planner

At Babcock International Group, we're working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Senior Compliance Task Planner, you'll play a crucial role in the coordination, evaluation, and prioritization of the Technical Compliance Authority (TCA) portfolio of tasks and requirements.

The Role

As a Senior Compliance Task Planner, you'll assist the Principal Engineer and General Manager in ensuring the appropriate processes are adhered to while optimizing the programme of works. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Health & Safety – Adhere to the company Health and Safety policies and promote safe working practices while planning the portfolio of tasks.
  • Task Planning – Establish, maintain, and control the task plan with the input of key project stakeholders.
  • Task Controls – Identify areas of risk within the plan and advise and support management of the variances of risk.
  • Resource Control – Ensure allocations and assignments are known by resource and smooth where appropriate.
  • Reporting – Provide reports for presentation to Senior Management and other key stakeholders.

This role offers hybrid working arrangements with 1/2 days in the office/onsite and 3/4 days working from home depending on business needs.

Essential Experience

  • Knowledge of planning processes and business applications.
  • Experience in creating plans from scratch, not just adapting plans.
  • Working experience with Primavera 6 or Microsoft Project.
  • People management experience is desirable.
  • Technical or Engineering background is desirable.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national, who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
