Job Title: Compliance Senior Task Planner
At Babcock International Group, we're working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Compliance Senior Task Planner, you'll play a crucial role in assisting the Principal Engineer and General Manager in coordinating, evaluating, and prioritizing the Technical Compliance Authority (TCA) portfolio of tasks and requirements.
The Role
- Assist in the coordination, evaluation, and prioritization of the TCA portfolio of tasks and requirements.
- Consider key resource requirements and integrate and interact with programmes within areas of newly injected works and scheduled tasks.
- Advise on potential bottlenecks and clashes and recommend solutions.
- Ensure the appropriate processes are adhered to while optimizing the programme of works.
Key Responsibilities
- Health & Safety: Adhere to company Health and Safety policies and promote safe working practices while planning the portfolio of tasks.
- Task Planning: Establish, maintain, and control the task plan with input from key project stakeholders.
- Task Controls: Identify areas of risk within the plan and advise and support management of variances of risk.
- Resource Control: Ensure allocations and assignments are known by resource and smooth where appropriate.
- Reporting: Provide reports for presentation to Senior Management and other key stakeholders as required.
Requirements
- Knowledge of planning processes and business applications.
- Experience in creating plans from scratch, not just adapting plans.
- Working experience with Primavera 6 or Microsoft Project.
- People management experience is desirable.
- Technical or Engineering background is desirable.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national, who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
