Project Planner Role

Babcock International Group is seeking a skilled Project Planner to join our team at HMNB Clyde, Helensburgh. As a Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our Submarine maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and control systems to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including vessels, shore departments, and MOD customers, to deliver required outputs.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and control, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Primavera P6, is advantageous.

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements, including up to 3 days in the office and 2 or 3 days working from home.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
