About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at Rosebank House, a specialist care home providing support for individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions.

As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and engaging environment for our service users, promoting their independence, social inclusion, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver activity programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our service users.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address the social and recreational needs of service users.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
  • Document observations, progress, and outcomes in service users' clinical notes.
  • Adhere to Elysium Healthcare's policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months' experience in a mental health setting (desirable).
  • Basic group work skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Initiative, motivation, and a solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Good organisational skills and awareness of mental health and its impact on functioning.
  • Full UK driving license.
