We are in search of empathetic and devoted Healthcare Assistants in Liverpool, who are committed to providing exceptional one-on-one care for our service user. Your role will involve fostering positive relationships with the child and their family, while assisting them in living as independently as possible within their home environment.

About Our Service User

Our service user is a teenage girl who resides with her supportive family in Liverpool. She requires assistance with her intricate clinical care needs throughout the day and night on a one-to-one basis.

She is a sociable individual who enjoys engaging with her community, spending quality time with her family, friends, and care team. She takes pleasure in attending school and participating in various arts and crafts activities.

During the night, you will be responsible for attending to her clinical care needs, assisting with personal care, and providing comfort and reassurance to ensure a restful night's sleep. Additionally, you will support her morning routine to prepare her for the day ahead.

Vaccination Requirement

It is essential that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 for this position.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children, as this is a crucial requirement for the role.

Gender Preference

Our service user has specifically requested female staff to join their care team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 months previous care experience
  • Proficiency in Medication Administration
  • Experience in Personal Care
  • Knowledge of Moving and Handling techniques
  • COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Familiarity with Epilepsy management

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with PEG Feeding
  • Skills in Oral Suctioning
  • Knowledge of Seizure Management
  • Understanding of Oxygen Management

Available Shifts

  • Full-Time Days: 8am - 4pm
  • Part-Time Nights: 10:00pm – 8:00am

Compensation Overview

Weekdays: £16.00 per hour (£128 approx. per 8-hour shift)

Weeknights: £16.50 per hour (£165 approx. per 10-hour shift)

Weekends: £17.00 per hour (£170 approx. per 10-hour shift)

Bank Holidays: £19.00 per hour (£190 approx. per 10-hour shift)
