Job Summary
Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking an experienced and committed Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our young service user with complex care needs.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about making a positive difference in the life of a child. You will work closely with our care team to provide personalized care and support to our service user, including assistance with personal care, medication administration, and moving and handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to our young service user with complex care needs
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication as required
- Support with moving and handling, including transfers and repositioning
- Work closely with our care team to provide personalized care and support
Requirements
- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Total Parental Nutrition (TPN)
- Sepsis Awareness
- Gastrostomy Care
Working Hours
We have the following shifts available:
- Full Time Nights - 2 Shifts per week
- 8pm – 8am
Pay Rates
Weeknights: £15.00 per hour (£180 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £15.50 per hour (£186 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holidays: £16.50 per hour (£198 approx. per 12-hour shift)
