Position Overview
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled individual for the role of Lead Care Support Specialist. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £13.50 per hour for a commitment of 44 hours per week, specifically for night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
As the Lead Care Support Specialist, you will oversee the care team within the facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while delivering exceptional care to our residents. Your role will include:
- Promoting and maintaining high standards of care.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff to enhance their contributions to resident care.
Required Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a care or nursing home environment, particularly with elderly individuals.
- An NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care is essential, along with a genuine passion for providing outstanding care.
- Strong communication and written skills.
- Self-motivation, resilience, and excellent organizational abilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being capable of independent initiative.
- Dependability and the ability to perform well under pressure, with flexibility to meet the needs of the facility.
