Job Summary:
The Darlington Borough Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to lead the Housing Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a number of teams within the Management Services department, with a focus on Housing Tenancy Enforcement and Refugee Support Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of housing professionals to deliver high-quality services to residents.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve housing outcomes and reduce homelessness.
- Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
- Represent the council at local, regional, and national levels to promote the council's housing services and interests.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in social housing or social care.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
