About the Role

As a Front of House Supervisor at Mercure Darlington Kings Hotel, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home. You will work closely with the department manager to coordinate the effective delivery of high-quality customer services and ensure that all brand standards are met.

Your Responsibilities

  • Supervise all aspects of Front of House to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for our guests.
  • Create a unique and special visit for our guests, exceeding their expectations at every turn.
  • Support the department manager in coordinating the effective delivery of high-quality customer services.
  • Ensure that all brand standards are met, taking all opportunities to promote service excellence to our guests and drive profit from the business by focusing on quality.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure a positive and welcoming environment.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and health and safety in all areas of the hotel.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Front of House Supervisor who has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will need to have:

  • Previous relevant hotel experience, with a focus on Front of House.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills, with the ability to proactively resolve any challenges that may arise.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, guests, and stakeholders.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage your own time and the time of the team.
