Position Overview

As a Service Operations Transition Lead, you will be responsible for managing the Operations team and overseeing the integration of vehicle digital telematics and connected services, ensuring their effective implementation and ongoing management across our global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Service Transition Management - Design and implement comprehensive service transition strategies, creating detailed plans that outline activities, timelines, resources, and dependencies for the integration of new and modified services into an efficient operational support framework.

Incident and Lifecycle Oversight - Ensure operational requirements are fulfilled during the design, development, testing, and validation stages of projects, addressing any service or design discrepancies, and managing client incidents systematically, around the clock.

Change Integration - Spearhead the evaluation and incorporation of changes within the operational support structure and service transition framework, aligning with technical, infrastructural, and business needs to ensure service excellence.

Stakeholder Coordination - Serve as the primary point of contact, managing and prioritizing operational and service transition processes among internal and external stakeholders and service providers for both new and existing services.

Problem Resolution - Lead operational initiatives related to incident management, ensuring effective and efficient resolution, prevention of recurrence, and quality enhancements.

Process Development - Establish and oversee operational systems, processes, and policies that align with organizational objectives.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives - Champion the implementation of ongoing process and technology enhancements through data analytics.

Quality Management - Maintain high standards in operations and service transition management.

Supplier Relations - Oversee Service Partner Management, engaging with local, regional, and global service partners to ensure the development and delivery of telematics and connected services.

Leadership and Mentorship - Provide guidance and mentorship to the Operations team and peers, promoting best practices in operational service delivery.

Qualifications

Experience - Proven background in operations or related fields of vehicle telematics and connected services, with a solid understanding of vehicle connectivity features and solutions.

Leadership Skills - Demonstrated ability to lead critical issues and manage production/customer-facing environments, with a willingness to work flexible hours for operational needs.

Service Level Management - Experience in defining and managing SLAs with internal and external partners, driving continuous improvement.

Technical Proficiency - Familiarity with DevOps practices, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and matrix organizational structures.

Interpersonal Skills - Strong adaptability, decisiveness, and initiative, with excellent communication abilities.

Team Collaboration - Proven track record of promoting cross-functional teamwork and collaboration to support the delivery of complex projects.

Workload Management - Exceptional personal workload management and workforce planning skills.
