Role: Senior Energy Transition Technical Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Associate Technical Director to join our growing Energy Transition team. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including public sector organizations and large portfolio investors, to help them achieve their sustainability goals.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership in areas such as asset decarbonization, net zero audits, building modeling (thermal modeling), renewable energy assessments, heat decarbonization, and energy storage. Stay current on industry advancements and technologies to deliver exceptional services and explore new market opportunities.
  • Manage a variety of project sizes and effectively utilize team resources to ensure successful delivery. Take ownership of project resourcing, skills development, and quality control.
  • Contribute to the growth of our Energy Transition team by identifying and developing new market opportunities. Support the Service Line Lead in developing strategic growth plans, internal and external marketing initiatives, client engagement strategies, and pursuit leadership for complex bids.
  • Mentor and upskill other team members, fostering their technical and consultancy delivery skills. Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and best practices within the Energy Transition domain.
Your Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams in asset decarbonization, renewable energy integration, heat decarbonization strategies, building thermal energy modeling, EPC projects, MEES compliance, renewable energy technologies and software, due diligence assessments, heat network design and operation, energy master planning, industrial heat decarbonization, net zero initiatives, and organizational change management.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, commercial delivery model advice, business case development, and options analysis.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects and managing teams concurrently, while effectively managing resources, quality control, and finances.
  • Experience in developing market growth strategies, client engagement plans, internal and external marketing initiatives, and coordinating complex bids and pursuits.
  • A passion for developing and growing high-performing teams, supporting individual skill development, and fostering career progression within the Energy Transition field.
