About the Role

The Environmental Health and Safety Manager position at Telent Technology Services Ltd is a critical role within the UK rail industry. Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety, and Environment, you will be responsible for overseeing environmental health and safety programs for the business unit. This role involves developing and implementing safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and safeguard employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish inspection programs for regulatory compliance
  • Liaise with suppliers for supply chain assurance and risk management
  • Develop expertise in environmental health and safety and security matters
  • Manage project environmental health and safety requirements
  • Handle accident and incident databases and reporting
  • Produce regular safety reports and metrics

As an ideal candidate, you should have previous experience in a Health and Safety role in the Rail industry. You must possess a strong understanding of Rail industry standards and legislation, as well as relevant auditor qualifications. Management experience in a similar role is essential.
