Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety strategy to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safe operational procedures and ensure employee awareness and training.
  4. Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  5. Develop and deliver training programs to promote a safety-first culture and ensure employee understanding of health and safety policies and procedures.
  6. Stay up-to-date with relevant health and safety legislation and regulations, and communicate changes to the organization.
  7. Lead the development and implementation of sustainability priorities and deliver plans to reduce environmental impact.
  8. Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of health and safety metrics and performance indicators.
  9. Collaborate with external consultants to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
