Job Description

Job Title: Environmental Protection Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Environmental Protection Officer to join our team at Warwick District Council. As an Environmental Protection Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the health and well-being of our community by enforcing environmental regulations and providing advice and guidance to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake investigations and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
  • Provide advice and guidance to members of the public and other service users on environmental health matters
  • Work with colleagues to identify and address environmental health issues
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve environmental health outcomes
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals

Requirements:

  • Competent in Microsoft Office and use of the internet
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
