Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Protection Officer to join our Environmental Protection team at Warwick District Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in protecting the environment and promoting public health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and enforce environmental regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to members of the public, other service users, and partners on environmental health matters.
  • Conduct inspections and investigations to identify and address environmental health risks and hazards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve environmental health and protection in the district.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in environmental health or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
