Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview: We are in the process of transitioning our core technology services from a managed, on-premise data center to an in-house managed cloud solution.
To facilitate this new infrastructure, we are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer proficient in Azure, Intune, and M365 configuration and lifecycle management to help shape the strategic direction of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Azure management, including Active Directory, Virtual Desktop, and server operations.
- Coordinate Windows 10 devices using Intune and MacBooks with Jamf, ensuring proper configuration, patching, deployment, and security measures.
- Manage the M365 suite, which includes Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
Infrastructure Management:
- Administer Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure, focusing on deployment, configuration, and continuous monitoring to guarantee optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Handle server management tasks within the Azure environment, including provisioning, patching, monitoring, and implementing strategies for performance enhancement.
Device Management:
- Oversee Windows devices comprehensively via Intune, demonstrating expertise in configuration profiles, patch management strategies, and seamless autopilot deployments.
- Manage MacBooks thoroughly using Jamf, covering configuration, application packaging, patching, and compliance with stringent security policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure, Windows 10, MacBooks, and M365 applications, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption.
Support: Provide 24/7 on-call support for Azure, Intune, Jamf, and M365 services.
Qualifications:
- Experience with ITIL Service Management applied in an Agile framework (ITIL certification preferred).
- Extensive hands-on experience in Azure administration, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Desktop, and server management, with a solid understanding of Azure services, security, and networking.
- Strong proficiency in managing Windows 10 devices through Intune.
- Advanced skills in managing MacBooks end-to-end using Jamf.
- In-depth knowledge of M365 applications, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and other Microsoft services, with experience in administering and optimizing these platforms.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and identity management.
