Our client is a leading global distributor of parts, boasting an extensive portfolio of over 250,000 product lines in the fastener industry, including a diverse range of plastic and metal components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process customer orders effectively.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries regarding outstanding orders.
- Conduct business reviews with clients to enhance relationships.
- Complete Requests for Quotations (RFQs) from customers.
- Negotiate pricing and lead times for orders with clients.
- Maintain consistent engagement with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Update systems with active price management, including margin analysis.
- Analyze customer schedules to guarantee stock availability.
- Gather and maintain up-to-date forecast information for key accounts.
- Perform monthly sales forecasting analysis for major clients.
- Create commercial invoices and assist with customer declarations.
- Resolve any invoice discrepancies in collaboration with the Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable teams.
- Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Generate customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as needed.
- Engage with suppliers regarding pricing and lead times for orders.
- Oversee product sourcing and resourcing activities.
- Place and progress Purchase Orders (POs) with suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
