We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Workshop Manager to join our team at Auto Skills UK. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial vehicle maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain optimal workshop loading and prioritize repairs in line with customer demands and business requirements.
  • Ensure all inspections, services, and repairs are carried out to a high standard, adhering to company guidelines and relevant legislation.
  • Promote a safe, tidy, and hazard-free working environment, ensuring compliance with our EHS policy and procedures.
  • Manage staffing levels effectively, controlling holiday requests and workshop loading.
  • Monitor and control overtime working in line with maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure all company vehicles are operated in accordance with road traffic law and company policy.
  • Adhere to our health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician.
  • Previous commercial managerial experience.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills for interpreting data.
  • Proficiency in computer software.
