POSITION: SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Working Hours: Full-time/Permanent/Monday to Friday/40 hours per week

Compensation: £24,793.60 annually plus commission

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Sales Support Specialist to join Aspire Training Team, a nationally recognized training provider. Aspire Training Team operates across various regions, delivering apprenticeships in Childcare, Business Administration, Customer Service, and Leadership & Management, along with short courses. We are a Grade 2 Ofsted provider and have received Investors in People recognition and the Beacon Award for Training Excellence.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include scheduling sales meetings for our consultants to secure sales of apprenticeships and training programs. This will involve communication over the phone and through platforms like Zoom or Skype.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate leads through online research, social media engagement, and participation in networking events to identify potential sales opportunities. Conduct cold calls to prospective clients. Analyze reasons for inquiries that do not convert into sales and develop strategies for overcoming objections. Execute delegated marketing, sales, and public relations activities to promote courses and apprenticeships, collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager and Administrator. Maintain accurate records in the Client Management System and prepare monthly activity reports. Assist with lead generation efforts. Perform basic administrative tasks for sales consultants and the Business Development Manager as needed. Update our CRM system regularly.

Required Skills and Experience:

B2B cold calling experience is preferred but not mandatory; prior experience in a client-facing sales role is advantageous. Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter is beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
