About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Creative Support. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of a small residential care home, providing 24-hour care and support to older adults with varying levels of need.
  • Assist residents with personal care activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal support, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Lead a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement care plans, ensuring residents' needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive care environment, promoting resident engagement and participation in activities.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment, with a strong understanding of care principles and practices.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Qualifications in care, such as a Level 2 or above, and a willingness to work towards further qualifications.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the service.
