Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and driven individual to join our finance team as a Finance Operations Coordinator. The ideal candidate will possess a qualification equivalent to AAT Level 4 and preferably be pursuing a professional accounting designation.

This position is integral to our Acute, Mental Health, and Community sectors, collaborating across various locations within the Integrated Care Board (ICB).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Finance Manager in delivering precise and timely financial management reports, including forecasts.
  • Identify and analyze financial risks and discrepancies.
  • Engage in discussions and meetings with budget holders to ensure financial alignment.
  • Prepare documentation for budget formulation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently within a dynamic and deadline-oriented team.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in a financial environment, utilizing financial systems.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and trends.
  • Ability to provide detailed financial advice to both finance and non-finance personnel.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
