Job Description

**Senior ERM Risk Analyst**

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ERM Risk Analyst to join our team at James Joseph Associates. As a Senior ERM Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Enterprise Risk Management team in the development and maintenance of an effective risk management framework across our expanding organization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Develop and Integrate Risk Management Framework:**
    • Collaborate with the ERM Risk Manager to develop and integrate all components of the risk management framework.
  • **ORSA Report Management:**
    • Organize and oversee the gathering of data for the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) report.
    • Assist in the finalization of the ORSA report.
  • **Risk and Control Self-Assessment:**
    • Manage the quarterly risk and control self-assessment process.
    • Compile and test controls.
    • Support workshops with Risk and Control Owners.
  • **Risk Incident Management:**
    • Facilitate the reporting of Risk Incidents.
    • Maintain the Risk Incident Register.
    • Ensure thorough root cause analysis and follow-up on agreed actions.
  • **Support for In-Depth Examinations:**
    • Provide support for in-depth examinations conducted by the Enterprise Risk Management function.
  • **Risk Identification and Reporting:**
    • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and reporting new and emerging risks.
  • **Risk Management Reporting:**
    • Contribute to the production of risk management reports for internal Committees and Board(s).
  • **Stakeholder Relationships:**
    • Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Operations, and Finance teams.
    • Ensure comprehension, review, and challenge of ORSA requirements within the enterprise risk management framework.

**Requirements:**

  • A proven track record of implementing and embedding Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.
  • Prior Insurance industry experience within non-life markets.
