Job Description

Qima Coffee is seeking a skilled Espresso Machine Engineer to join our technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot espresso machines to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks on all espresso machines across all locations.
  • Diagnose and repair machine malfunctions accurately and efficiently.
  • Reduce average machine downtime through effective troubleshooting and repair processes.
  • Maintain a well-stocked inventory of spare parts and tools to facilitate quick repairs.
  • Provide detailed reports on all repairs and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, technical vocation training, certification, or degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge of La Marzocco, Victoria Arduino, Cimbali machines, and others.
  • English language fluency.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with espresso machines and coffee brewing equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical or mechanical role, preferably with espresso & Coffee machines or similar equipment.
