Administrative Support Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the management team. This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to work independently as circumstances dictate.
Position Details
This is a part-time role requiring 14 hours of work per week, primarily on Mondays and Tuesdays, with flexibility available upon discussion.
This position is offered as a 6-month secondment or fixed-term contract, with the potential for permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Administrative Support Coordinator, your daily tasks will include:
- Managing schedules and timekeeping records.
- Updating and maintaining databases and records accurately, including the initiation and closure of work orders as instructed.
- Assisting in the administration of the Assessment in The Line process.
- Establishing and organizing efficient filing systems for the department, ensuring confidentiality and safety of critical documents.
- Performing general office management tasks for the Section Manager, utilizing a diverse skill set to deliver effective support.
- Providing assistance to fellow Administrative Support Coordinators as required.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Experience in clerical support and office administration.
- Strong time management skills.
- Familiarity with relevant IT systems.
- The ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not essential, the following would be advantageous:
- Knowledge of the operational railway environment.
