Job Overview

Are you an agile and proactive team member with experience in Ophthalmology?

If so, we invite you to explore an opportunity within our Ophthalmology Administration team as an Administrative Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist the Service Manager in overseeing the administrative team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, including tracking performance metrics.

A primary aspect of this role involves organizing tasks alongside Consultants and clinical teams, coordinating their efforts to maintain an efficient service.

The individual will be responsible for evaluating and managing the workload within the team, stepping in as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

It is crucial for the candidate to demonstrate initiative appropriate to the role and provide support to colleagues within the administrative team.

To assist the Service Manager in the effective operational management of resources within the service, continually striving to enhance the quality of patient care within available resources.

Candidate Profile

Essential Criteria

  • Proficient typing skills

  • Relevant qualifications in administration
  • Transferable skills applicable to the role
  • Proficiency in patient management systems
  • Prior experience in Ophthalmology
