About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Domestic Assistant to join our team at University Hospital Monklands. As a key member of our Domestic Services department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide domestic services to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to NHS Lanarkshire and Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI) standards.
- Work effectively and efficiently in a busy environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Undertake on-the-job training and induction to achieve full competency across a range of duties.
- Develop and maintain effective written and verbal communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and respectful working environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and inclusivity.
