About the Role

Nurtured Future Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Care Worker to join our team in a Waking Nights position.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the well-being and development of our residents.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of each child are met.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, adhering to data protection and confidentiality guidelines.
Requirements
  • At least 12 months of experience working in a children's residential setting.
  • Hold a relevant qualification, such as an NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including waking nights, and participate in on-call rotas.
