About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Worker to join our team at Anchor. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dignified personal care to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist residents with mealtime activities, including serving meals and snacks, and providing support with eating and drinking.
  • Offer sensitive and appropriate support with various aspects of residents' lives, including mobility, continence, and medication management.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, based on understanding, trust, and genuine care, to promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality care service is delivered, and to support the development of residents' skills and abilities.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in a care or support role, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • A caring and compassionate approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required.
  • Basic knowledge of care and support principles, including health and safety, and data protection.
