About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team at Nurtured Future Living. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, meeting their individual needs and promoting their well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality care and support, adhering to our organization's policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of children and young people are met.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a culture of safeguarding, ensuring the protection and well-being of children and young people.
Requirements
  • At least 12 months of experience working in a children's residential setting.
  • An NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support, with a focus on promoting the well-being and independence of children and young people.
