About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team at Nurtured Future Living. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting the well-being and development of our residents.
  • Provide high-quality care and support, including personal care, education, and leisure activities, tailored to the needs of each child or young person.
  • Contribute to a culture of safeguarding, ensuring the protection and safety of our residents at all times.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, documenting the care and support provided to our residents.
Requirements
  • At least 12 months of experience working in a children's residential setting.
  • NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and colleagues.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
