Geriatrician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatrician to join our team at Lymington Hospital. As a Consultant Geriatrician, you will play a key role in providing expert clinical opinion and taking full responsibility for the care of patients.
Main Duties- Provide expert clinical opinion across a wide range of problems within General Internal Medicine and Geriatric medicine
- Take full and independent responsibility for the care of patients
- Get involved in admission prevention, virtual wards, proactive community services for older people living with frailty, advance care planning, and end-of-life care

Person Specification- MBBS or equivalent
- MRCP or equivalent
- Full registration with the General Medical Council GMC with licence to practice
- Entry on Specialist Register in Geriatric medicine
- Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training CCT in Geriatric medicine or within 12 months of award of CCT by date of interview
