About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant and inclusive educational institution in Manchester City Centre. As a Level 2 Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school's teaching staff and enhancing the learning experiences of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Support students with their learning activities, both individually and in small groups.
  • Help maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing resources and maintaining records.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • A willingness to work towards Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A patient, caring demeanour with a genuine interest in helping children succeed.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
