Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator to join our team at Alfanar Projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Assist with records, inspections, and monitoring activities to verify compliance with company SHEQ processes and procedures.
  • Database Management: Maintain company MS SharePoint database for all company policies and procedures.
  • Risk Assessment and Safe Systems of Work: Support the production of risk assessments and development of safe systems of work.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Record follow-up actions from internal/external audit, accident investigations, and compliance audits.
  • Health and Safety Training: Support the EHS Manager to conduct incident investigation and reports.
  • QHSE Policies and Initiatives: Support and implement company's QHSE policies, plans, and initiatives.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Collate and prepare HSE data/presentations for site and submission of corporate weekly and monthly Health and Safety KPI reports.
  • Workplace Inspections: Perform routine workplace inspections of the facility to ensure compliance and identify any areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years experience in HSE, including industrial site experience.
  • Certifications: IOSH Managing Safely. Possess or be working towards NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • Skills: Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 would be advantageous but not essential. Extremely proficient with Microsoft Platforms (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent organisational and multitasking skills. Driven personality with ambition to further a career in Health & Safety Management.
