We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior HSE Coordinator to join our team at Alfanar Projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their knowledge and skills in safety legislation, policies, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the production of risk assessments and safe systems of work to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collate and analyze HSE data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of HSE activities, including incident investigations and compliance audits.
  • Support the EHS Manager in conducting incident investigations and developing reports.
  • Provide HSE training and support to employees to ensure a culture of safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement company-wide HSE initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in HSE, including industrial site experience.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
