Junior HSE Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior HSE Coordinator to join our team at Alfanar Projects. As a key member of our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining accurate records of inspections, audits, and compliance activities to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of risk assessments and safe systems of work to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the EHS Manager to conduct incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to HSE.
- Provide administrative support for HSE-related activities, including data collection, reporting, and presentation.
- Perform routine workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- 2+ years of experience in HSE, including industrial site experience.
- IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
