Office Manager Job Description

Parke Lane People is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the administration team and ensure the smooth operation of our offices in Oxford.

This role will involve managing a small administration/customer support team and office management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations to ensure sales processes are streamlined, customer communication is prompt, and KPIs are achieved.
  • Manage administrative tasks, coordinate staff schedules, and ensure the office runs efficiently.
  • Manage office budgets, develop reports on office-related expenses, and maintain office equipment and supplies.
  • Sourcing transport services to ensure high service levels and controlled costs.
  • Organize corporate internal activities, such as staff team building, training, and celebrations.
  • Manage and maintain office cleanliness.
  • Recruit and train employees on office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement office policies, ensuring the business remains compliant with regulations.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of previous administration or customer service experience at a supervisory level or higher.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Experience recruiting and training new staff members and a proactive working style.
  • Strong computer skills, ideally with experience using SAGE 50/200.
