Job Summary

The Ecommerce Operations Specialist/Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of ecommerce operations, including sales and marketing strategies, website management, automation, risk assessment, profitability optimization, data analysis, customer support, and compliance. This role will ensure a seamless customer journey, maximize profitability, and maintain efficient processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of ecommerce operations, including sales and marketing strategies, website management, automation, risk assessment, profitability optimization, data analysis, customer support, and compliance
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Implement and utilize ecommerce tools, software, and technologies to optimize operations
  • Ensure day-to-day website operations and platform are running smoothly from a technical perspective
  • Develop and manage dashboards, reporting structures, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success
  • Automate all aspects of the website and ecommerce operations using APIs and plugins
  • Anticipate and mitigate risk factors across operations, and develop business continuity plans
  • Elevate business profitability based on set goals and objectives using marketing and branding strategies
  • Analyze metrics and data to inform business decisions and optimize operations
  • Manage inventories, refunds, customer support, and pricing
  • Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ecommerce operations
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, and reading)
  • Good experience with supply chain, procurement, logistics, and warehouse management
  • Experience in the business-to-consumer (B2C) digital retail market within the ecommerce space
  • Agile and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in managing stakeholders, client relations, and vendor management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, time management, and ability to multitask
  • Good with project management, reporting, data analysis, and dashboard management
  • Able to work within the EU timezone

  • Proficiency in website management platforms (e.g., Shopify)
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies for ecommerce
  • Experience with implementing and utilizing ecommerce tools, software, and technologies
  • Familiarity with CMS blocks and website navigation
