An exceptional opportunity awaits for a dedicated and skilled Senior Clinical Practitioner to join the esteemed team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. This role is pivotal within the Surgical Neurosciences department, focusing on delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree and demonstrate the ability to operate independently at an advanced level, ensuring safe and effective care for patients with complex neurosurgical needs. You will be responsible for conducting thorough clinical assessments and managing a varied caseload, while continuously enhancing your expertise in surgical neurosciences.

We encourage applications from those nearing the completion of their Advanced Clinical Practitioner training, as we are open to offering a starting position at band 7, with progression to band 8a upon successful completion of training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients
  • Utilize autonomous judgment to evaluate clinical scenarios
  • Identify symptoms to establish a working diagnosis and formulate an appropriate management strategy

The successful candidate will receive robust support from a well-established team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners and will be paired with a clinical supervisor. Collaboration with medical professionals and the broader multidisciplinary team will be essential, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Non-Medical Prescribing qualification
  • Current professional registration with NMC or HCPC
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex and sensitive information
  • Proven experience in managing patient care pathways
