Finance Professional

Ligentia is seeking a collaborative and enthusiastic finance professional to join our UK regional teams. As a key member of our finance department, you will partner with various functions and branches across the UK to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong business partnerships to provide guidance and support for data-driven decision making.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and commentary for management submission.
  • Perform balance sheet reviews to ensure accurate reconciliations and prompt issue resolution.
  • Work closely with the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to improve the month-end variance analysis process.
  • Support the development and management of a Finance Assistant.
  • Ensure clear processes and governance are in place across business areas and the finance department.
  • Support the Group Finance Team with information for Tax Audits, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting, and other initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Recent or newly qualified accountant (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) or part-qualified individual with a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in reporting complex financial data to non-finance managers.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Sound knowledge of current accounting practices and processes.
