Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Teaching Assistant to work with a child with Autism in a mainstream school in Harrow. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special needs and be able to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the child with Autism in Year 5 with their academic and personal needs
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to supporting the child
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with special needs, personal experience or relevant degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Right to work in the UK and experience working in the UK
