Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Four Points by Sheraton Edinburgh Haymarket. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, ensuring a high level of organization and efficiency in check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with guests, colleagues, and management, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient hotel operations.
Requirements
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to understand and anticipate guest needs.
  • Product Knowledge: High level of product, service, and location knowledge to enhance the guest experience.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Opera PMS and MARSHA systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
  • Experience: Previous work experience in hospitality, with a strong background in front office operations.
