About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at The Recruitment Co. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a thriving industry and a business that offers fantastic career growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage UK customer accounts to drive sales growth and revenue.
  • Generate new leads and develop them through to potential sales, working towards sales targets.
  • Negotiate and maintain contract pricing with current and prospective clients.
  • Defend current business while proactively seeking new opportunities.
  • Analyze data to prepare weekly and monthly reports, identifying sales trends and product drop-offs.
  • Liaise with customer services to provide new product information and alternatives.
  • Research unlicensed products and maintain back orders.
  • Complete customer quality assessment documentation and tender maintenance.
  • Set up and price new products, and provide UK Shortage support.
Requirements
  • GCSEs Grade C passes and above, to include English & Maths or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • The ability to multitask and quickly switch focus.
  • Computer literacy, IT skills, and typing skills.
  • An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
