Senior Service Centre Administrator

The Patient Service Centre (PSC) Senior Administrator plays a vital role in the Outpatient Service, supporting the service, patient experience, and administrative pathways and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Support PSC Supervisors in leading a team of Senior Administrators and Assistant Administrators in the operational delivery and clinical governance of Outpatient Services.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless support and communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative processes and pathways.
- Provide exceptional patient experience through effective communication and support.
The PSC consists of five teams, each working collaboratively to support each other. Our teams are:
- The Pre-Registration Team – responsible for registering referrals and actioning patient responses to text reminders.
- The Rapid Access Team – responsible for registering and booking appointments for patients referred in for suspected cancer within the national RTT timeframe.
- The Urgent Long-Term Care Team – responsible for booking new and some follow-up appointments for general and specialist medicine specialties.
- The Clinic Maintenance Team – responsible for setting up Outpatient clinics, rescheduling, and cancelling clinics.
