Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our national support team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff across the country.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience working in a professional practice environment, and a strong understanding of IT systems and software. You will be able to assess each user's level of IT knowledge and provide tailored support to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to staff via phone, email, and Service Manager
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues to completion
  • Liaise with National IT teams and Regional Managers as required
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and servers
  • Assist users with access to and use of applications
  • Configure and maintain network printing and multi-function devices
  • Manage space availability on network volumes
  • Deploy new software and resolve local issues
  • Apply patches and updates as directed
  • Maintain system security
  • Apply the Starters/Leavers Process
  • Provide user help and training
  • Promote and implement National IT Standards
  • Provide regular on-site visits and updates to Regional Managers
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good problem-solving and diagnosis skills
  • Able to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Working knowledge of virtualized environments

  • Familiar with wireless networks and networking
  • Use of Audio/Visual equipment and installations
  • Ability to work under pressure
