Lead Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Lead Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to young people with eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a defined caseload of young people with eating disorders, using evidence-based and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Lead the Occupational Therapy team to ensure effective and high-quality delivery of the group program, alongside individual patient and family support.
- Ensure familiarity with the Occupational Therapy Pathway at Newbridge House.
- Supervise and support junior Occupational Therapists, providing clinical supervision and guidance as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working collaboratively with patients and families to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment progress, ensuring the effectiveness of interventions and making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records and activity data, in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
- Oversee the use of resources, clinical and educational materials, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience working as a Senior Occupational Therapist in mental health and/or CAMHS.
- Experience as a clinical supervisor, with a strong understanding of leadership principles and practices.
- Knowledge of current best practices in Occupational Therapy, particularly in the area of eating disorders.
- Ability to critically evaluate research and apply findings to practice, with a strong commitment to evidence-based care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
