Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Sutton to fill a 2-month contract for an Occupational Therapist, with the possibility of extension. If you're interested, please submit your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £26.92 - £34.00 per Hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • As an Occupational Therapist, you must be registered with the relevant regulatory bodies and maintain the necessary requirements to remain registered.
  • You will practice in accordance with professional standards and code of ethics, upholding Occupational Therapy values at all times.
  • Our ideal candidate will practice in a way that respects human rights and equalities, recognizing and responding to the effects of oppression, discrimination, and poverty.
  • You will ensure that your practice is guided by the principles of human rights and equality, protected in national and international law, conventions, and policies.
  • Our Occupational Therapist will understand the psychological, social, cultural, spiritual, physical aspects, and the impact of disability within their environment, which influences people, human development throughout the life span, and the legal framework for practice.
Requirements:
  • You should be willing to participate in training, student, and staff development relevant to the role and take advantage of learning opportunities.
  • A high degree of competence in the use of IT is required.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You must have the right to work in the U.K.
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS.
