Lead Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our clinical team as a Lead Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to young people with eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Occupational Therapy team to ensure effective and high-quality delivery of the group program and individual patient support.
- Develop and implement occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and group work to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Collaborate with patients and families to identify occupational therapy goals and develop personalized care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment progress to ensure effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date electronic records and activity data are maintained in accordance with professional and organizational policies.
- Provide clinical supervision to junior colleagues and delegate tasks as appropriate.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the occupational therapy service.
- Experience working as a Senior Occupational Therapist in mental health and/or CAMHS.
- Experience as a clinical supervisor and ability to provide guidance and support to junior colleagues.
- Knowledge of current best practice in occupational therapy for eating disorders.
- Ability to critically evaluate research and apply findings to practice.
- Understanding of Safeguarding legislation and implications for practice.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
